Brigid's Hearth is an outreach project of Brigid in the Desert UAIC. We seek to meet the needs of the poor and working poor who seek assistance from food banks and crisis organizations in the Phoenix, Arizona area. While food banks are able to provide food staples to those who struggle to make ends meet, there are a number of items that are often forgotten. At Brigid's Hearth, we will be collecting these items and providing them to local non-profit organizations for distribution. Below is a list of items most needed. If you are in the Phoenix Metro area and would like to donate items, contact Brigid's Hearth through the email form on the left column of the page. We will do our best to make arrangements for pick up or direct you to an organization that can use the items you would like to donate. If you prefer to help by donating funds, there is a donation button on the column to the right.
If you do make a monetary donation, please follow up with an email providing your email and/or mailing address so we can send you a donation receipt. Brigid's Hearth is 501c3 qualified through the main Universal Anglican Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
NON-MONETARY donations may also be brought to monthly gatherings of Brigid in the Desert on the first Saturday of each month.
